Why Grivio Peer Support Exists

Grivio began with a loss, a conversation and the realization that caring is not always the same as understanding.

After losing my father, I discovered there were conversations I could not have with friends and family, even though they cared deeply and felt the loss too. Some experiences are difficult to explain to someone who has not lived through something similar.

The idea became clearer while speaking with a coworker who was struggling with feelings I recognized. That conversation showed me the value of being heard by someone who truly understands the experience behind the words.

I created Grivio Peer Support to make those connections easier to find—for grief, mental health challenges, recovery, caregiving, loneliness and other life-changing experiences.

Grivio is not being built to replace therapy, healthcare or crisis support. It is being built as an additional tool: a safe, compassionate community grounded in shared lived experience.
